Went to my barbershop for a straight razor shave of my head and face. Only to find that my barbershop had moved and the person I liked no longer worked at the new shop. Was a blessing in disguise. Though they don\'t do straight razor at Aveda they used a foil trimmer that got just as close. Not only did it do as good of a job. I came out cheaper than my old shop. Service is always great at Aveda my wife loves it there and I will definitely be back as a client.

I had an appoinment for a cut and color. I wasn’t even sure I knew what I wanted. Misook talked to me for about 15 minutes about colors and style. In the end, she did an amazing job. I’m so happy with how it all turned out! I had my hair colored a month or two before and I never noticed how orange it was. Misook did her magic and now the color looks amazing!

Today is my birthday and I am feeling my age, so I decided to book an appointment with Misook. Misook recognized the stress on my face and made me feel absolutely pampered! She gave me the most wonderful scalp, neck, and shoulders massage (I am a former massage therapist, and I was very impressed) and wrapped my hands and hair in hot towels during the shampoo. The scented oils she used smelled amazing and were so calming. I received a fantastic expert cut and blow dry, and felt as though I had booked a spa experience. It is kind of intimidating having someone check out every tiny flaw but she was very professional, personable, and fun. I felt very pampered and happy with my result. She gave me her suggestions afterwards but did not try to sell me any products-I didn’t ask. If I had asked I’m sure she would have told me what was available at the salon. I dropped in to reschedule my appointment and to shop around at the products and I had a great experience! The girl at the front desk was sweet and she told me about the Aveda products and how much she loves them. She was also really patient about rescheduling my appointment (I have a crazy schedule and two small children so it took a minute to find something that would work for me.) The hairstylist Sarah also talked to me-she was friendly and fun and told me about the different Aveda products. I ended up scheduling with Sarah too because I really liked her! My hair has never been healthier and my stylist has been so helpful in teaching me how to style my own hair at home, which is something I’ve always had a hard time with. But now, because of her tutelage I’m able to style my own hair at home and with Aveda products my hair hasn’t been ruined by the heat and styling like I thought it would be.

However, at some point of my hair cut, I couldn’t really see because she was doing an undercut so all the hair was in my face, but there was one girl from the staff that was taking a picture (video?) of me while this was happening and made me feel super uncomfortable. They didn’t ask my permission or anything, they just let me know when it was already happening and with all my hair in my face, couldn’t really see what was going on. I’d appreciate if they deleted the picture (video?) they took. Thanks.

After three failed attempts to find a decent salon, I finally found it! I’ve always loved Aveda so I’m not sure why this wasn’t my first stop when I moved to Utah. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Not sure when they started the pre-service scalp massage but it just added to all the love I was feeling. Melissa is great!! Love my cut and can’t wait to try the others services provided all in this one location!

Chelane is the absolute BEST! She was super nice and personable. It felt like she took her time and gave me the best experience I could have. .please give her a raise or Something… I will be back ❤️ My face is GLOWING

Chelate is very detailed in her cutting style and I like this quality very much. She listened to my request and was able to cut my hair exactly as I requested. I will be back to see her again when my hair needs cutting.

I love going to the Aveda salon! The person who checked me in so kindly asked (because I was wearing a mask) if I would like her and my stylist to also wear a mask. So thoughtful. And my haircut was so well done. Kiana, my stylist, was a joy to work with and my hair looks amazing.
